You cannot overestimate how important it is to pay mind to how you are spending your time, most particularly the present moment.
With this moment right now, you must always be thinking – is what I am doing getting me closer to where I want to go?
If it is, then great. Keep doing what you are doing. But if what you are doing right now is not moving you towards your goals, then stop doing it as soon as possible. Find a way to avoid that activity.
Of course, you won’t know if a particular action is moving you towards or away from your goals if your goals aren’t already clear in your head and written down on paper.
